Chehalis Troop 9373 is a co-ed troop of young adults ages 12-18+ from all over Lewis County. We are led by our Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, and Scouts. We are governed by our Troop Committee as outlined by Scouting America.

More than 55 years of Scouting: Chehalis Scout Troop 9373 was officially chartered in 1968, giving the troop a history stretching across generations of local Scouts.

A strong Eagle Scout tradition: By its 50th anniversary in 2018, 125 Troop 9373 Scouts had earned the rank of Eagle Scout. The troop has continued adding Eagle Scouts since then.

A historic home: Generations of Troop 9373 Scouts have met at the Chehalis Scout Lodge, the WPA-built 1938 lodge that is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Scouts learn to lead: Troop 9373 emphasizes Scout-led meetings and outings, giving youth opportunities to develop leadership, character, self-reliance and practical skills through advancement and the merit badge program.

Deep community connections: Community involvement has long been part of Troop 9373's identity, with Scouts participating in service projects and civic activities throughout the Chehalis area. Historical records document Troop 9373 Scouts participating in community service and even attending Chehalis City Council meetings while working on citizenship advancement.

Scouting is for adults, too! Troop 9373 offers a variety of opportunities for parents and community members to get involved — from Scoutmasters and assistant Scoutmasters who work directly with youth to committee members who help with events, advancement, fundraising, equipment and behind-the-scenes support. Whether you have a little time or a lot, there’s a place to share your skills and help the next generation of Scouts succeed.

Chehalis Troop 9373's program is led by our Cub Scoutmaster, Assistant Cub Scoutmaster, and Den Leaders. And our organization is governed by our Troop Committee, as outlined by Scouting America's recommended structure. All leaders with our Troop have completed required training and maintain annual Safeguarding Youth requirements that include background checks and annual certification by our local council (Pacific Harbors Council) and all adult leaders are subject to approval by our charter organization.
